Endurance Marine Winch Review

When you are looking to buy a winch for your boat, there are generally two types of winch out there. One is a manual hand-cranked winch and the other is an electric winch.

Since electric winch is more expensive than its counterpart, it might tempt some of you to go for the less expensive option. But it should be noted that the value of the winch is not only measured by money. There are winches that provide more for your bucks.

There are several reasons to pick electric winch over manual winch that includes boat size, speed, and safety. And an electric winch doesn’t demand any physical effort from the user.

An electrical winch may be the more expensive option at first glance. But in the long run, it can save you a lot in terms of effort, efficiency, functionality and convenience.

In this review, I’ll be writing about some of the highly quality Endurance Marine winches.

153:1 Gear Ratio
1.5 HP Motor

The line speed is quite fast too, as it can pull 2000 with the speed of 6.5 fpm (feet per minute) and while only drawing 110 amp motor current. Verdict On Endurance Marine Winch Review

Each of these winches are manufactured with different users in mind. Despite some minor shortcomings, the capstan winch Model# WCH800 is perfect for users who are looking for a modest amount of load capacity. It has lots of features to make it a great buy.

Endurance Marine EMD2000, on the other hand, is suited for users who demand more pulling power from their winch. It also comes with a free-wheel clutch and 500 lbs. of vertical lift, which are great perks to have.

Both of these models are manufactured by a company dedicated to provide as much quality at the lowest prices. Each of them can be extremely valuable to you in the long run.

Although manual hand crank winches are less expensive, they can’t possibly match the convenience these Endurance Marine electrical winches provide.

Overall these winches are of very good quality. They are very usable, sufficiently durable, elegantly designed, wonderfully convenient – all of which come in a price that is a wonderful investment.
